Sports Topspin / Ping-Pong Depot is a sporting goods business specializing in table tennis, pickleball and other sports.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

 

1. Customer Service Agent:

Full time, regular work schedule with occasional evening/weekend availability as needed

FOR 2017 TO BE COMBINED WITH ANOTHER POSITION

Position summary:

As the first line of contact, you will represent the company’s mission and values in all dealings with our customers
You will provide excellent customer service and ensure that our customers are fully satisfied with their buying experience


Key responsibilities include:

Interacting with customers via phone calls and email.


Entering all orders and preparing invoices.


Opening and maintaining customer accounts by recording and updating account information and keeping accurate records of all customer

communication.


Providing assistance, advice, and product/service suggestions to our existing and potential customers.


Investigating and solving customers' problems, resolving complaints, issuing refunds or compensation when applicable, and following up to ensure

successful resolution.


Constantly striving to improve the customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate the organic growth of our customer base.


Qualifications and requirements:

College diploma and five (5) years’ related experience

Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year related experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask
Strong focus on the customer experience

2. Shipping/Warehouse Agent:

Full time, regular work schedule with occasional evening/weekend availability as needed

FOR 2017 TO BE COMBINED WITH ANOTHER POSITION

Position summary:

Under the direction of your immediate supervisor, you will perform duties related to receiving and shipping merchandise
You will ensure that all customer orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped in a timely and accurate manner


Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities, as well as inventory management and control.


Receiving and verifying merchandise (assisting with unloading as necessary), accepting or returning merchandise according to established procedures,

preparing related documents.


Arranging for transportation that optimizes service and cost, conducting targeted analysis on transportation spend, identifying areas with improvement potential and recommending and implementing any changes.


Maintaining storage area, organizing stock, picking and packing orders, handling customer pickups, and ensuring area is secure at all times.


Qualifications and requirements:

College diploma and two (2) years’ related experience
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel

3. Sales & Marketing Coordinator - Table Tennis Specialty:

Full time, regular work schedule with occasional evening/weekend availability as needed

FOR 2017 TO BE COMBINED WITH ANOTHER POSITION

Position summary:

Oversee all sales and promotions in this channel


Oversee our website, reps, dealers and major customers in this channel


Work with CEO, digital and traditional marketing team and product manager to increase sales


Measure, enhance and enrich the position and image of the company through various goals and objectives


Key responsibilities include:

Building the sales plan and overseeing sales in this channel made through our website, at tournaments and at our on-site boutique.


Setting sales targets and meeting or exceeding them.


Strengthening our brand awareness and reach by developing a marketing strategy for the channel in line with company objectives.


Creating and disseminating all marketing material.


Planning and implementing promotional campaigns, including seeking the help of suppliers.


Supervising company representatives, clubs and dealers.


Collaborating to establish and control budgets.


Qualifications and requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ related experience
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong selling skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Familiarity with the world of table tennis

4. Sales & Marketing Coordinator – Wholesale division:

Full time, regular work schedule with occasional evening/weekend availability as needed

Position summary:

Oversee all sales and promotions in this channel


Oversee our website, sales reps and all customers in this channel


Work with CEO, digital and traditional marketing team and product manager to increase sales


Measure, enhance and enrich the position and image of the company through various goals and objectives


Key responsibilities include:

Building the sales plan.


Setting sales targets and meeting or exceeding them.


Meeting with major customers and company representatives, supervising representatives, and organizing annual sales rep meetings.


Strengthening our brand awareness and reach by developing a marketing strategy for the channel in line with company objectives.


Creating and disseminating all marketing material.


Planning and implementing promotional campaigns, including seeking the help of suppliers.


Working with the marketing team, planning and attending all relevant trade shows.


Collaborating to establish and control budgets.


Qualifications and requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ related experience
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong selling skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities

5. Sales & Marketing Coordinator – General sporting goods and digital marketing:

Full time, regular work schedule with occasional evening/weekend availability as needed

Oversee SEO and digital marketing


Oversee our website(s) and third party sales


Work with CEO, digital and traditional marketing team and product manager to increase sales


Measure, enhance and enrich the position and image of the company through various goals and objectives


Key responsibilities include:

Building the sales plan and overseeing sales in this channel made through our website and third party websites.


Setting sales targets and meeting or exceeding them.


Strengthening our brand awareness and reach by developing a marketing strategy for the channel in line with company objectives.


Creating and disseminating all marketing material.


Planning and implementing promotional campaigns, including seeking the help of suppliers.


Collaborating to establish and control budgets.

6. Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant:

You will maintain an accurate record of our company’s business transactions and cash flow through the use of tools such as accounting software


Key responsibilities include:

Keeping all accounting and financial records up to date.


Preparing cheques and invoices.


Qualifications and requirements:

College diploma and five (5) years’ related experience

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent knowledge of Account Edge

7. Accountant:

Full time, regular work schedule with occasional evening/weekend availability as needed

FOR 2017 TO BE COMBINED WITH ANOTHER POSITION

Position summary:

You will provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, and preparing reports


Key responsibilities include:

Documenting financial transactions and preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Reconciling financial discrepancies, securing financial information, and summarizing current financial status (balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports).


Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting information and trends.


Preparing payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.


Maintaining accounting controls and guiding junior accounting staff by preparing, recommending and implementing policies and procedures.


Developing, maintaining and analyzing budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted and actual costs, and making recommendations for future financial actions.


Qualifications and requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ related experience

CPA and one (1) year related experience
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent knowledge of Account Edge
